About Us

Founder, CEO and Executive Chef Tania Bonkowski has worked exclusively in the Food and Hospitality Industry since 1976.

She graduated in 1991 from the Dubrulle French Culinary Institute. Tania proceeded directly to Vancouver’s renowned 5 star restaurants Il Giardino (wine stewardess, lounge manager) and Il Barino (management and cook).

Immediately following a one year sabbatical Tania opened her own business, Voodoo Café and Jaguar Catering inside Vancouver’s landmark nightclub, Richard’s on Richard’s. (She recalls clearly the early days of pulling up to the club in her dented Dodge Dart without enough change to plug the meter). 20 years and two children later, Jaguar Catering has had a much loved successful café and catering kitchen on Annacis Island as well as operating 3 cafes in 3 different corporate companies which is part of the food service business.  Now Jag Catering has just moved into their new 2000 square foot custom build kitchen in Central Burnaby and is continuing to provide top quality food and great customer service to the lower mainland.

Tania has been featured on BCTV’s women in business series as a rising entrepreneur. She is a member of the International Caterers Association. Tania also holds certificates in fitness and nutrition and is well known in the community for her integrity and individuality.
